A week ago I phoned the ADT sales call centre as I want to move over from my current service provider (they installed a security system which 6 months after installation is still not working properly) to ADT. I spoke with the sales agent last week and they promised to get team to call me the same day to come and assess my system and give me a conversion quote and guess what... nobody called. The first commitment ADT as a company made to me they did not honour.

I phoned the call centre today to follow up. I used their Johannesburg call centre number but because of overflow I was routed to the CT call centre who could not help me and had to transfer me back to Joburg. The agent I spoke to then asked me who I spoke to last week which I could not tell her because on good faith I did not write down every detail. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold. I waited 15 minutes then the call centre agent came back and said the manager is in a meeting so no-one is available.

How can a company not have any senior management available to deal with their own failure to deliver the service promised? I nowbelieve feel that ADT cares as little about service as my current provider.
