I have cancelled my DSTV account approx Oct/Nov 2010, which they do have record of. It has now come to my attention that a debit order for DSTV has been coming out my bank account for appr 6months, I am awaiting confirmation from my bank as to exactly how many months, which means that somehow my DSTV account has been re-opened! much to my horror when I called in, the consultant on the line told me that yes someone called in to open up that account again. When asked to hear the recording of that conversation, they all of a sudden have all the excuses why I cannot hear it. I was then told that the next department will have to investigate it, then someone will be giving me a call. I have since then called about 5times, and even tried twice this morning, but I was number 45 and 54 in the queue... not sure I can wait a couple of hours on hold. The first time I called about this was in JANUARY, to be told they would call me back asap... We are now in APRIL, and I still have had no response!!! What concerns me the most, is that someone else clearly has the needed information to go ahead and open up accounts as far as banking details, very concerning for such a large compAny as DSTV!
