DEBIT ORDER OF R2000 DEDUCTED IN ERROR

Last month my DSTV debit order was deducted from my bank account. It was for an amount of R2000 of which normally I pay - R600 per month. I called the accounts department and was told that I had been charged for using two decoders.

I explained to the gentleman on the telephone that we had bought a new PVR decoder and called into DSTV to activate the account and deactivate the existing DSTV that we had. This was done. The following day the new PVR just stopped working and we called DSTV and told them what had happened. We then reinstalled our old machine and were watching DSTV off of that machine. They said that they would disable it and we must bring the new decoder into Multichoice for the machine to be upgraded. All of the above is on record at DSTV. I asked for my bank account to be reinstated with the excess amount and I was told it would be done within seven days. I am still waiting three weeks later. I want my money back but as usual when they take your money away they take their time or just ignore you.
