HD PVR problems unresolved

I have an HD PVR decoder, which Multichoice requires me to take with me when I travel. I need to move the decoder quite frequently, but every time I disconnect and reconnect there are problems - usually that I cannot view many of the channels in my bouquet, sometimes that I cannot get any programme guide and thus cannot schedule any recording. Numerous calls to the Multichoice Call Centre has put me in touch with Consultants who have taken me through trying a range of different things for up to an hour, but have been unable to resolve the problem. Suggestions have been getting in a Technician (at my cost), reloading the software, etc. This has usually resolved the problem until I move the decoder again, when the problem recurs. Numerous promises by Consultants to get a Supervisor or a Technical person to phone me back have never been fulfilled. This HD PVR decoder which Multichoice promises will ease my life and add to my viewing pleasure has become a nightmare, and frequently prevents me watching the programmes I enjoy.
