For the past two months Multichoice has been suspending my service despite payments made into their account on or before the 21st resulting in me having to pay a reconnection fee. To me this seems like Multichoice is using every opportunity to extort money from their customers by ensuring that their system automatically suspends an account because each time I phone their call centre the agent confirms that the payment is reflecting on their system. If my payment is reflecting why then is my service suspended. It is my choice to make payments in any manner I want either it be an EFT (which is supposed to reflect immediately) or through a number of their partners (Pick 'n Pay and Checkers) I want Multichoice to waiver this reconnection fee and connect my services because I can't be penalized because their systems are not in real time.
