Rude and useless security at Sun City

My girlfriend and I went to Sun City for a game drive with Game Trackers. We have to wait for them at Sun City Welcome Centre. Game Trackers were a pleasant bunch. I had no issue with them
After the game drive around 0900, my girlfriend and I had sandwiches which we made from home, in the boot of our SUV. We plan to have a quick breakfast and go to the Valley of Wave for the rest of the day. The next minute, we are surrounded by 4 security guards (2 on foot and 2 in their bakkie) as if we were being arrested. They talked among each other in Tsewana but it was clear that this was about us. I asked if something wrong? They ignored my question and continue to talk to each other. This happened for about 2 mins. After asking them 7 times what was wrong with clear frustration, they finally responded "You are not allow to eat your own food here! "

That was a complete surprise to me. We were in our car. We were not having a picnic. This is like saying you are not allow have any food in your car when you enter Sun City. We were told we have to support the restaurants. The worst part is the manner in which that was done. Hardly anything was open this time of day. We left immediately
