What a experience! spending 4 hours over a 2 day period on the phone (which costs me money) they cannot resolve my xtra view issue. After being pushed from pillar to post, I eventually landed up at what was obviously a Z grade employee that told me my decoder was faulty. I took the decoder to my local DSTV approved center which tested it and found no problems, anyway, i digress, they told me that this issue needs to be escalated to some or other "special ops" unit (MI6 or the Gestapo i believe)... which still has not sorted it out, now they want to escalate the same issue again and i suppose ill have to wait another 24 hours. I write this whist holding on your IVR system and i am currently 48 in the queue. I still have no picture and nowhere closer to what I was a day ago. DSTV, you need a wake up! train your staff, sort out your call center, I cannot hold for 4 hurs to get an issue resolved. Get an 0800 number, its not like you cant afford it with your absorbent monthly subs. As DSTV works in advance, Im sure you will have no problem with refund for a service you are not providing.
