MULTICHOICE SA REFUSES TO HELP

Recreation & Entertainment

We moved back from Namibia with a PVR decoder. Customer services in Namibia, only placed smart card on 2nd hand status and not decoder. Made Various phone calls in January to Multichoice call centre in Randburg to try resolve. After spending 2hrs33 minutes on phone fighting and being sent from pillar to post they refused to help. I was eventually told to drive in my car back to Namibia to get decoder released. I immediately phoned Multi choice Namibia on a Friday afternoon at 16h30 to assist. They said to send email and they would resolve for me.By 17h45 that same afternoon they had placed the decoder on 2nd hand status. I phoned Multichoice Africa the next week and they confirmed decoder now on 2nd hand status. Multichoice Africa stated that Multichoice SA now has to send an instruction to service desk to transfer decoder to SA. I tried phoning Multichoice call centre Randburg to resolve. Even after speaking to a supervisor they refused to help and blamed Multichoice Africa. Out of desperation went to Multichoice agent in pretoria who tried to help. They phone Multichoice in randburg and were told I have to send the email to the service desk but refused to give address.
