ON 18/12/2013 I PAID MY DSTV AT RADIO SONIC. I HAVE 2 HD PVRS AND A EXTRA VIEW. ALL THE DECODERS ARE WORKING BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN THE ONE DECODER SHOWED E16, MEANING IT WAS SUSPENDED. I WENT TO THE WEBSITE AND TRIED TO RECONNECT IT, THIS DID NOT WORK. THEN I TRIED THE SMS AND SELF SERVICE, THIS WAS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. THEN I TRIED TO PHONE THE JOHANNESBURG CALL CENTER, I WAS ON THE LINE FOR 2 MINUTES THEN CUT OFF, THEN AGAIN 2 MINUTES AND CUT OFF, THEN AFTER 21 MINUTES A LADY ANSWERED. SHE SAID IT IS NOT THEIR MISTAKE BUT I MADE CHANGES ON THE WEBSITE. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT I TRIED TO RESET IT BUT SHE SAID IT COULD NOT BE DON ON EXTRA VIEW, I THEN SAID THAT I PAID IT AND ASKED WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN IT WAS DISCONNECTED, SHE SAID IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT. I ASKED HER WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR MY PHONE CALLS, THE CELL NUMBER OF DSTV ALSO DOES NOT WORK AND WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR THE RE-CONNECTION. SHE THEN STARTED TO GET . THIS IS EXTRA COSTS NOW TO ME AND I AM MADE THE CULPRIT DUE TO INCOMPETENCE OF STAFF WHO THINKS THEY ARE VERY CLEVER AND DOES NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT YOUR EXPLANATION OR WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY TO THEM.
