I had a normal decoder, I then purchased a HDPVR and was told that I needed the full bouquet in order to have the functions of the HDPVR, which I subscribed for. I asked for an extra view and was told that I had to pay R65 per month extra for the extra view. At no stage was I told that I will be paying the R65 per month for the recording service. This amount was increased in April 2013 to R70-00, In August 2013 I decided to cancel my Extra View subscription and add another decoder to my account. I did not look at my statement until today because I needed to cancel the additional decoder and to my surprise I noticed that I was still charged the extra R70. When I queried this with the service provider I was told that this charge is for recording facility and it is explained in the terms and conditions. I then asked for the terms and conditions to be emailed to me and was told that I should get this from the website. I would like to know is it MANDATORY for a subscriber to have access to internet if they want to subscribe to DSTV?
