Paid early and they cannot trace payment

I received early salary and decided to pay my bills on the 21st November 2013. I paid DSTV R275 (monthly payment)

I then got a message as I do each month to say I must make payment before 28th.

I ignored it as I thought it is an auto reminder.

On the 30th November 2013 at 11pm when I got home I saw a message icon and the message said that if payment is not received they will disconnect DSTV.

I thought well instead of me taking a chance and sitting without DSTV let me just make another payment and then the next day they can sort it out and refund me.

IT WAS NOT THAT EASY.

They requested proof of payment, I sent my statement but this was not sufficient for them. They wanted the statement that shows the account it was paid to.

The transaction has already been done and the proof o payment they require I cannot get.

I sent them my statement that shows last payment done to DSTV account number ---- on 21 Nov and 30 Nov. they never accepted this.

How can the accounts department NOT trace this???

I am so fed up! One tries to do well by making early payment and then I have to incur more costs trying to sort this out! I want my R275 refunded!
