On 24 Nov I cancelled DSTV mobile and activated DSTV Extra. On 24 Nov DSTV billed me a pro rata amount of R88.67 and an additional R380 which I assume is for Dec. Their helpdesk told me that I have debit order setup so no need for me to manually pay. On 28 Nov my account is suspended. I check my balance online and it says I am in arrears by R88.67. When I try to pay this amount via the DSTV Self service option I am only able to pay the full amount of R462.14, which I do. I then phoned the helpdesk and the the guy in the helpdesk tells me that the amount will not go off by debit order and manual payment needed to be made. He reactivated my service on 28 Nov. On 01 Dec a debit order amount of R459.86 goes off my account and on 02 Dec DSTV bills me another R380. I have now paid R922 for a month subscription to DSTV Extra including a week pro rata. Their helpdesk tells me I must wait 7 days before requesting a reversal of the debit order and the reversal can take between 3 and 7 days. Why must I wait 10 - 14 days to get my money back when the mistake was made by Multichoice? You need to improve your system because looking at other Hellopeter complaints your accounts system is a problem
