Costing money due to their incompetence

I had my DSTV account deactivated in 2012 and wanted the service reactivated on the 26th January 2013. I called multichoice and spoke to Precious Mabunga at 09:52 requesting the services to be activated and to confirm the amount to be paid. She confirmed with me that the service will be reconnected as soon as I have made the payment the same day and that I did not need to call for the reconnection. Payment was made around 10:20 and the service was not reactivated.
I made a second call at 12:35 and spoke to Ruth Mahlangu. I advised Ruth on the previous call and that I wanted the service activated immediately. She stated the policy which was not mentioned to me on the first call with Precious Mabunga of waiting 24hours. I asked her to call me back as I was calling from a cell phone and the charges were high and she declined. I asked that she get her supervisor to call me in 1 hour or reconnect and that did not happen.

I made a third call at 13:42 and asked to speak to the supervisor and I spoke to Winstonia Adams who not only reconnected my account but also called me back to discuss the account further.
All I want to know is how I get this company to pay for the cellphone calls
