My account was in arrears in November last year which i paid and paid the extra amount to have my account reconnected. In December i swapped my older decoder for my newer decoder where the old smart card was deactivated and my new smart card activated.By the end of January my account was deactivated cause i was not able to pay the service bearing in mind December was paid. I reactivated my service in May where the gentleman i spoke to said i had a positive balance so my subscription was reduced for that month and my account was up to date. I paid for June then i received my statement saying i am 1000 rand in arrears and my service was cut at the beginning of July. I wanted to reconnect my service yesterday and called the call center and after almost an hour an a half on the phone it seems they have had both smart cards active hence the amount outstanding. I was then told that the shift manager would get back to me once they have checked into the matter. So they wanting me to pay R 735.00 now and on the 1st another R 625.00. I feel this service is completely unacceptable and demand and answer regarding my matter.
