Poor and Disgraceful Customer Service Levels

Yesterday afternoon at the Musgrave Cinema I discovered that my Discovery Vitality SK card was not readable on the self-service machines. So I went to front service at the popcorn area etc. to enquire on what should happen next. The movie we have wanted to watch was starting at 19:30 and we had gotten there at 19:15.

The level of response and service at the front desk was absolutely pathetic, a complete joke a service level quality such that I'll liken for a bottom end class of service. The lady I was speaking had no time listening to my argument regarding the invalidity of the 30 rands that I had to pay, she kept on quacking about policy and procedure on and on like a scratched tape, I could bet I was speaking to a telephone machine. When I called one of the supervisors in, he was at a worst level than the front desk lady, quacked about policy and procedure without giving cognizance to my concern.

I completely understand paying for a replacement card if the card was damaged physically by myself and there was apparent visual evidence that my card was no longer inoperative due to negligence of anything of that sort, but none of them could listen to this they just wanted the 30
