Charged 2 reconnection fees in error!!!

Last night I received a message indicating I have to pay an additional R100 on my account or my service will be suspended. I immediately phoned the call center who could not assist due to maintenance on their system.

I phoned again this morning and after about 20min of struggling to find out what the extra R100 was for (as I always pay the exact amount) I was informed it was for 2 connection fees - one in Aug and one in July. I was 2 days late with payment in Aug due to the fact that my grandma passed away - which I explained to them back then... I made payment as soon as we got back from her funeral. Despite this my service was disconnected 2 days after payment was made; I phoned in and explained my situation, I was reconnected and told I wont be charged the reconnected fee as I was disconnected in error. I was never disconnected in July BUT was still charged a reconnection fee.

I asked to speak to a manager but was denied this right. I have now paid the outstanding amount as I was informed they wont be able to assist me to reverse the charges charged in error... Their service is pathetic and they are very unsympathetic with regard to personal tragedy over which I had no control
