Ignoring a customers complaint

We have an HD PVR decoder that has severe problem recording programs. Everytime we take the decoder in, they "test" it and say nothing is wrong. They aren't willing to replace it even tho we are having major issues with it. A recording will randomly stop working, some show no picture or poor picture and others have sound issues. It happens with certain programs only, but never are we offered a proper resolution. When unplugging to reset, it sometimes does not reset/ find signal. We have had many cable guys come in and there is nothing wrong with the set-up and that it must be a decoder problem or issue directly from multi choice
