PVR Decoder faulty

We have been customers for many years. But since getting the pvr decoder, we have had nothing but problems. The decoder resets itself at least 4 times a day and it takes forever to reboot. It also fails to record scheduled programs a lot of the time. It is clearly a problem with the unit. They have told me to replace the eye on the dish which I have done twice, but the problem persists. I have also taken the unit to one of the multichoice centres twice, but they just shrug their shoulders and find nothing wrong with it. Multichoice self refuse to replace their faulty unit and say that I have to buy a new unit if I'm not happy with the current unit. What happened to looking after longstanding clients? In the old days with m-net they replaced a unit if it was faulty
