M-Net Decoder Swap

Recreation & Entertainment

I had a broken Decoder and took it to the Klerksdorp Multichoice Branch and it was swapped for another one witch cost me R 450.00 for the swap. When I tested the swapped decoder at home that night and discovered that it was not picking up the signal at my flat and was just showing the number 7. I took it back the following day and they tested the decoder again at the Klekrsdorp branch and I was told that there was nothing wrong with the decoder.

I'm staying in a duplex set of flats and my next step and reaction was that there was something wrong with the arial but I could not get on top of the roof because I needed a stepladder to get on top of the roof. I did not use the decoder for 3 motnths and took it back to the Branch upon witch they told me that its actually broken and I only got 2 months warranty on the item and need to pay again R 480 for the decoder. I refused to pay for the decoder that was from the beginning not working and the lady at the Branch phone head office upon witch she was told it is not their problem and I had to pay for the new decoder since it ran out of warranty. Can somebody please help.
