I absolutely HATE phoning the Multichoice call centre for several reasons:
1. The voice prompt speaks for 3 minutes, telling you all sorts of irrelavant nonsense before finally allowing you to press 9 to speak to an agent.
2. You often have to hold the line for 30 minutes or more before finally getting through to the agent. I pay roughly R1000 a month for this nonsense. Can't they employ more agents with all this money???
3. In the end, you are put through to a survey asking you:
a. How did you experience the service? and
b. Was the agent knowlegeable and friendly?
The agent is nearly always friendly, but apparently both of these questions are specific to the agent you dealt with. So, giving a poor rating for the service (based on having to hold the line for 30 minutes), is impossible without affecting the agent.
Now their website has been giving errors for 5 weeks, so I have to experience this dreadful service twice a week.
And an agent has no ability to phone you back. All this waiting is for your account. DSTV is costing me R1300pm as a result, if you add the phone costs.
Shocking and awful.
I HATE MULTICHOICE!!!
