I have been a multiple choice customer for many years. I pay my accounts in advance every month. I was on compact. Last year multi choice suddenly demanded about R2000 for outstanding amount and cut off my services despite the fact that I had paid for the month. I protested and I was told that they discovered that I was on premium subcription and I was not charged for the services. I indicated that I never subscribed to the premium and this was not my problem if they indeed changed my subscription. In november last year I was told the problem was resolved. I agreed to resubcribe again. To my horror, I was billed for kyknet. I again contacted multi choice and told that I never took the sub and can't even speak Afrikaans. All I wanted was a compact sub. I immediately cancelled my sub. Today after a long absence I went to dstv and asked them how much to reconnect. I was told it ll cost R506. Later I received a call stating they now want R2000 from me. They claim they made a mistake. I immediately canceled my sub pending them reversing the charges that are clearly thin sucked and unfair.
