INCOMPETENT STAFF AT CALL CENTRE

I contacted Multichoice today to enquire about the discount that they are running with regards to booking a holiday to Zanzibar and getting a discount of R1000 off the booking. This discount is being run in conjunction with Africa Stay. Upon calling Multichoice, I was told to call customer care. When i called customer care, I was told to call the competitions dept. who will assist me. When I called the competitions dept I spoke to Elizabeth Njokweni who wasted 10 minutes of my time due to her incompetence and ignorance of the discount. I told her over 4 times that my query was about the discount and she kept confusing it with a competition. I corrected her a number of times but she failed to listen. I asked her for her manager's details and she was unable to provide me with it so I had to call the switchboard to be routed to her manager, Mahadi Njokweni who was just as incompetent and I would like to add, rude! I asked to speak to her manager, Riaz, who told me that the marketing dept had not provided them with information relating to this special discount. I would like to know how can Multichoice run a special and NOT inform the relevant dept about the discount information? Pathetic!
