I want my 5% discount

I went to Cashbuild Hebron on the 25th of march 2013.I enquired about the 5% discount that customers are suppose to get when they spend R1000 or more. I was refered to the manager who told me that yes they do give 5% discount, then in asked how come i have bought there a few times and nobody never informed me about it. The manager gave me so much attitude, he told his staff does not know about it and that is why i was never informed about it. I asked him if it was my responsibility to educate his staff about their promotions and stuff? His behavior did not reflect that of a manager and makes me wonder what criteria was used in making him one. I have witnessed incidents where customers wanted to give him a hiding because of the way he talks to them.
