A unit of relatively high value was returned to me by a customer, notably not packaged in good stead. I would have allowed for scratches, nicks, bumps and bruises to my stainless steel unit that has pop rivets and adhesive securing it together. I would never have put up a fight due to bad packaging, and the courier not being able to protect it. HOWEVER, my unit was manhandled, disassembled, unpackaged and competely irrepairable.
The pop rivets were snapped, and the adhesive pulled apart. I am now in the position to remanufacture a unit worth R10 000.
After eventually finding the appropriate person to speak to, Brandon Dean said he would assist me with this matter. However, Brandon's communication skills at easing a customers mind has been less than acceptable. After numerous emails, with no replies stating they had even received a claim form from me and are dealing with the problem, over the phone, I was told he is on my side and looking into the problem. Nice, after I had to hound him for an answer. Why should the customer have to nag for an answer to their lack of service? I have been using Bigfoot Couriers for 2 years now-after this, never again. Not after the lack of interest
