Sennheiser - wireless headphones

Electronics and household app.

Bought a pair of wireless headphones from a dealer in Cresta in Dec 2012. Initially, unit was picking up interference and it would also lose power. Took them back to the dealer who sent them to Sennheiser SA. They could not pick up a problem and returned the unit. I was told to not use the audio jack, but the AV output points. Tried this, worked for a few days and unit would switch off again. I was told to contact Sennheiser directly. They tested the unit again from my house, with interference, and was told they would have to test this further at their offices. Unit was returned the same day stating no problem found by technician. Landed up buying a newer flatscreen TV, unit worked for a while and would switch off. Again, contacted Sennheiser who said that I must plug the unit into the DTSV decoder this time (not sure why this was not mentioned when tested at my house). Nevertheless, did so, and it again worked for a while, but eventually just switches off. So 8 months later, still have a unit that is not working properly. Sennheiser simply state that when they test the unit, it works fine. Problem is, it is intermittent. Supplier very hesitant to swap out with a brand new unit.
