While down in Durban we purchased a G-GHD Eclipse for my daughter to be given as a gift on her 21th birthday.
The product was purchased on the 15 of July and given to her on the 10 of August 2013 as a gift.
The product was faulty from start, it shows an error and my daughter newer used it because of the poor quality.
We reported it on the 12, the first Monday.
GHD sent out a courier to collect it on the Tuesday the 13th of August 2013.
As this is a new faulty product, no exchange for a reconditioned or repairs should be done according to the Consumer Protection Act 68 0f 2008. The item must have been replaced immediately.
On Friday the 16th of August at 9:24 AM I have to phone GHD on 0860109366 to ask about the replacement.
The call center attendant promise me to follow up the situation and get back to me in a short while.
Needless to say, now on Monday I am still awaiting feedback and my daughter is still without her eagerly awaited GHD.
