DISCOVERY HEALTH - SMALL TOWNS DON'T MATTER

After several pleading requestes Discovery Health can still not appoint a network docter in our area. It seems that they are only focusing on the bigger towns. We have several docters closer to us (40km) as well as a state hospital. I have to travel 320km to go and see my closest network docter to be seen and to get a specialist referral. (It will be the second time the spesialist will see the patient). Then I have to wait for the autho number make an appointment with the specialist and AGAIN travel 320km to see the specialis. Network docters seem to take them off the approve list of network docters faster than members can keep treck as they feel they dont get the nessesary support from the medical aid - I feel the members pay regularly the monthly premiums but still has to go the extra mile to get the medical care they need! What a shame :-(
