I picked up a new, sealed box of Twinkle Vision Contact Lenses (Brown) from my optometrist on Saturday, 13th April 2013. After putting them on, it felt like i had a speck of dust or a grain of sand in my eye. I took them off and cleaned them. The problem persisted. I then changed the lense from the left eye to the right eye, to confirm that it was actually the lense and not my eye. I wear my lenses daily as they are prescription lenses and not purely for cosmetic purposes. I had to wear them through the weekend with the discomfort as i could only contact my optometrist on Monday morning. She says that she will have to call Twinkle Vision and see if she can get replacement contact lenses for me. Should this not be a policy between the supplier and the optometrist? What am i supposed to do in the meantime? I need to drive and work and cannot do so with confidence if i do not wear my contact lenses.
