Torn contact lenses

I bought a 6 month supply of Sofclear contact lenses from The Contact Lense Shop. I received the delivery on the afternoon of 12 February 2013. I experienced the first torn lense the following morning (13 February 2013). The supplier sent me 2 further lenses due to this. Three weeks have passed since i've started wearing the lenses. I have had to dispose of 8 lenses already due to tearing. It seems like this was possibly a defective batch. I did query with further with the supplier and advised that i did not have a problem with my previous lenses (which were a different brand). The feedback received was that I should not have changed my brand. This however does not explain why the Sofclear lenses were tearing. This is very disappointing as it seems like my 6 month supply will barely last 2 months. I have also not been wearing my lenses on a daily basis. The most i've got from one of these lenses is about 6 days thus far. Suppose my complaining will fall on deaf ears. I hope that nobody else has to experience this.
