Misinformed the clients and then ignore the client

As per their call centre i was told to wait till the year ends, before i can make any changes, upon which when i try make the changes i am told its to late. no one contacted me to let me know when the time to upgrade was. no when i question this, i am just plainly ignored. i find this totally disgusting and not called for. How do you expect to keep clients when you can offer them any form of service.
