I needed to cancel my Keycare account due to the high premium and lack of value received. I called the Discovery Health contact centre to find out about the implications on my Vitality profile if i cancelled and was told that because i had Discovery Life cover, Vitality would not be impacted.
Today I contacted Discovery Life to re-instate Vitality and was told I would need to increase my premium in order to qualify for Vitality.
This is after I signed up for Discovery Insure (from 1 May) which will be over R200 more expensive than my current cover because of the quality of service I had been receiving from Discovery (having tried on several ocassions to get the cover)
I think for a company that paints itself as a one-stop-shop, your consultants really make life difficult for your clients.
