After being diagnosed with lung cancer in May 2012 and having my lung removed I had to fight for every cent to be paid from oncology benefit. Even in January 2013 when my MSA was available my CHEMO was taken from MSA. I was supposed to be allocated a "case worker" seems it was for Discovery's benefit and not for me. Discovery made a mess up of the self payment gap in 2012 and started paying again, when they realized THEIR mess up they wanted me to pay back the self payment gap. When my wife wanted to have dental work done in 2013 she specifically phoned to ask whether the deposit to hospital of R1750 could be claimed back from MSA . answer was YES: REF no 2690981801. When she came to claim the money she was told that the money would be taken from her and used to pay back the 2012 self payment gap, and to thieve from her a SECOND time they ALSO took the R1750 from her MSA and to thieve a THIRD time they also added it onto he 2013 self paymeny gap which increased from - R5000 to
- R7000 . WELL DONE DISCOVERY . If you want to invest go with DISCOVERY (they clearly thieve from clients to impress shareholders) but if you want MEDICAL AID - run a mile
