Specsavers summer "promotion"

Dear Sir/ Madam

In January this year I heard a advert on the radio about your summer special and decided to have a my eyes tested at your Alberton City branch to be able to take advantage of your special.

I was pleasantly surprised to have a really caring optometrist (sorry I don't know her name) assist me, my eyes were very red that day and in the middle of testing my eyes she stopped and put in eye drops. She is truly caring and passionate about what she does.

I was contacted the next day to let me know I needed to pay in money, which I happily went and did the very next day. It took over two weeks to have my glasses done and I received a call to collect them. Upon collection I was told that "sorry " the promotional bags that were on offer are finished.

Why was this promotion extended for a further month if the bags were finished? Why was i not informed when i paid that this part of the deal would not be available to me. I know that the bag is only a small part of the promotion but I feel if something is advertised as part of a promotion it should be included as I had my eye test done and paid before the promotion ended. This is false advertising
