Eye test every yea

I always test my eyes at Spec-Savers and order my contact lenses from them. Now all of a sudden I must have my eyes tested once a year before they will give me contact lenses. It's common knowledge that eyes must be tested every two years, medical aids also only pay for an eye test once every two years. My eyes were tested in Nov 2011, it's still 8 months before I'm due for another eye test. I will rather have my eyes tested at another optometrist to get contact lenses now, than going back to Spec-savers ever again.
