I had a suite of blood tests at Du Buisson, Bruinette and Kramer on 1 November 2013. Discovery paid for all of the tests but one, stating that I needed a letter from my doctor confirming why I needed the test. This was obtained and submitted to Discovery on 14 November 2013. I was assured in a telephone call to the call centre that the amount was approved and would be paid. I received an sms from the supplier on 24 December wanting to know when payment would be made. I phoned Discovery again, where the consultant PROMISED (those were her words) that the payment would be made soon. I have just received another statement from the supplier dated 5 February to indicate that the account HAS NOT BEEN PAID. Besides Discovery's unreliability in dealing with this issue, this also impacts on my usually-impeccable credit record, as the account is ultimately my responsibility. Discovery, however, doesn't care one bit about the impact of its inefficiency and broken promises on its clients.
