More than a week, no payment, no feedback

I visited a doctor, paid a consultation fee and submitted the claim to Discovery the next day (13 Feb 2013).
I confirmed with Discovery that the payment of the claim will take no more than 5 working days.
SIX working days later, I spoke to a Discovery Health agent, who assured me that the claim had been loaded on their system and even confirmed my banking details, since payment was eminent.
The next day, after no payment was received, I phoned Discovery again, only to be told that the claim had been loaded under 2012 and NOT 2013 and had thus been REJECTED.
Again, I was informed that the "correct" claim will be paid within in five days.

1) I was not notified of the error or informed that the initial claim was rejected, nor was the error picked up by Discovery Health, even though I had phoned them THREE TIMES

2) After their error was picked up, they had no intention to expedite my claim

3) The doctor submitted another claim for tests that had been done, and this was paid to the HCP within 3 days... why are they more important THAN YOUR CLIENTS!?
