Unnecessary additional tests

Certain Blood tests where requested from my medical aid and I went to Ampath with their request. Only once my medical aid refused to pay for some of the tests done, did it come to my attention that unnecessary tests that where not required where also done without any prior warning. I refuse to pay for these as a matter of principal.
People be warned: Refuse to sign! They let you sign an innocent looking form but you are actually signing what they see as a blank cheque for them. I thought a big medical practice like that will not need to abuse the trust placed in them. I was wrong
