I was checked into room 301 which was non function

On 12 November 2013 at 11pm, i checked into Garden Court Milpark. I was a walk in guest with a frequent guest card but had left it at home.
On arrival, i was checked into room 301 at a normal rate of 1107.
The room i was checked into was apparent had belonged to another guest as there was a welcome letter for this guest, (either guest required to have his room changed or it was a no show).
None the less i then tried to switch on the Tv which did not work, my husband wanted to make tea the kettle also did not work. During the course of the night we felt hot, we tried the aircon it also was not working.
Our room telephone rang off the hook but when answering the line was engaged i suppose it was messages left for a guest so eventually we put the phone off the hook.
We tried to ring the reception desk about the television but there was no answer.
Eventually my husband said we should sleep we will query in the morning.
I then had a shower of which i washed my hair on attempting to blow dry my hair the blow dryer was not working, i then realised there was an issue with the plugs.
In my history in hospitality this room was supposed to be booked out of order as it was not conducive.
