No payment of claims

I have submitted claims on behalf of my mother who is an Altsheimers patient to Gems but no payouts have been made. I phoned their claims department, but they did not even have a record of the claims on their system. I have sent the claims numerous times with no result. Also the attitude of the claims department is that it is not their problem. Fax or email it again.
The claims are form July up to now and I have obtained authorisation from GEMS to claim against the medical fund. The amounts that we are talking about amount to thousands of rands and since my mother is a pensioner, this has now become a major financial crises.
I emailed all of the claims yesterday again (i think this is the 5th time now) to the supplied website address of enquiries@gems.gov.za but still nothing.
This is really bad service and the problem is no-one is prepared to help you. Not our problem!!
Can someone from GEMS come to the party and sort this nonsense out?
