After 3 attempts to pay for accomodation on the Tsogo Sun website and getting an error message, I emailed the contact center. I received a very unhelpful email stating that I could look at the website for all the rooms available and book online!
I tried the website again, with the same result and emailed the contect center again! Again, I received an email offering me the room I requested, but not booking it.
I then phoned the contact center and was quoted a substantially higher price for the room. The agent denied knowing any problems on the website and told me that the change in rates was due to the rate fluctuations. I went onto the website, while still on the line to her and the offer still existed on the website for R1275 per night bed and breakfast, while she was wanting to charge me R1500 per night bed only.
The agent refused to hear my complaint and I am quite irate.
