No answer in PMB authorisations department

I have repeatedly tried to phone Medscheme Authorisations department to update an authorisation so our claim can be paid. The claim is now over 90 days old and no matter how many times I phone the medscheme Authorisations number I constantly hold on for 20 minutes or more with no-one answering the phones. Where are the staff?? This is unacceptable as the claims go stale and then we get told we did not do our work, but we cannot reach the correct department. I need an answer please. What will be done about this? The claims department cannot provide us with any help in this regard. I am on a call currently for over 18 minutes and still no answer! How are we supposed to get our claims paid by Bonitas/Medscheme?
