Chronic medicine non-delivery

I usually receive my chronic medication around the 25th of every month and have had no problems up to now. Then last month there was a delivery strike and we were asked to get our meds from another source. With no communication for January, I presumed that all was back to normal. As I had not received any meds up to today, I called and after waiting about 10 minutes for an operator, was informed that I will only receive my meds the first week of February - two weeks after it is normally delivered. As a diabetic, this is life threatening!
