Getting chronic medicine is a nightmare

Good Day
I am very frustrated at the process to get chronic medicine. My chronic condition has been approved I am on a mood stabilier called lithium camcolit which has also been approved. My psychiatrist has now prescribed an anti-depressant mylan citalopram which is on the formulary under my chronic condition. Discovery health will not pay for it because I need to be on a mood stabiliser. I am on an approved mood stabiliser already, when I called to explain I was told lithium is not a mood stabiliser. Ask any psychiatrist this medicine IS a mood stabiliser.
