PMB - Chronic Medication

I have been diagnosed as having Bi-Polar Mood Disorder. This falls under the PMB list. There are two drugs that I have been prescribed for this condition, along with a few others. The one is an anti-depressant and the other if I am not mistaken a tranquiliser. When queried with Fedhealth as to why they are not covering those drugs at all I was told they are not PMB drugs. They have authorised them under Chronic, but have decided they are not PMB drugs despite them being prescribed by the psychiatrist that has prescribed all the other chronic medications. Apparently they fall under my Chronic limit which is of course used up. From what I understand from what I was told when I phoned is that the medication won't even be paid at the 80% (I think) that is now in place as I am out of my self-payment gap.
Fedhealth has decided that I must get a motivation letter from the psychiatrist, which means I will have to go and see him and pay for an appointment.
