I submitted a query on 13.09.2013 on behalf of my mum's med aid which I pay for. To date I have had no response or resolution despite numerous e-mails and calls.

I called today to follow-up & because I did not have my mum's ID number on hand, I was asked to obtain a letter of authorisation from my mum. Despite calling and providing other verification details on the previous calls, I was told this is their policy.

When my dad passed, my mum became principle member & she was issued with a new membership no., yet Medshield did not transfer her chronic benefit onto the new membership number & since April her chronic was being paid out of her day-to-day which is now exhausted and this is what I am awaiting feedback on & for the day to day funds to be reimbursed!

It was Medshield's error and I now have to beg for resolution on this!
