I was Handed over to NCCS for my Ampath Account. I was never informed about this account until a lady from NCCS phoned me and informed me about the account. I asked her about the date and she confirmed it was 04-02-2013., by that time i was in Hospital for a C-Section. I then explained to her they need to claim it from the Medical Aid as i was in Hospital so it is suppose to be under Hospitalization she then said to me that she is not allowed to phone the Medical Aid i need to do it, she is only there to collect the money. I then told her i will not pay the account as it is Hospitalization and she then said they will then list me on ITC. I phoned Lulama at Ampathin Centurion to find out what the problem is and she informed me the account was never send to the Medical aid but i'm still responsible for the account - I told her it they need to submit the claim to Medihelp and then she said she can't do it as it is passed the due date. Why must i pay for some else fault? the claim was never submitted to the Medical aid and now they keep me responsible for them not doing their work.
