Ridiculous billing after getting a verbal quote

Long story Short:
I am a private patient no medical aid

I had a broken tooth which cause and abscess, Dr Theron did a root canal work put in a temp filling, which partially disintegrated, went back to get a permanent filling, tooh broke more, he suggested a crown, I ask how much he say around R3500. I say lets do it in a few weeks when I have spare cash.

So far have I paid.

1st consultancy - R600 R98 meds
2nd consultancy root canal . - R1500
3rd consultancy R 4863 when I complained I got 10% off.

Before sending the imprints off to teh lab I was told to make a deposit, to which I agreed, when I call to say that I had some spare cash, I was told no don't worry they are already here waiting for you...

The excuse I got is that HE has no control on what the lab cost are, WHAT rubbish... if you have a service provider who is not cost effective stop using them.

Here's my Issue When I asked what a crown cost and got a verbal quote of R3500. I should be supplied at that price fully fitted And if the lab was going to charge more then I should be getting a call to say that the price has changed CAN THEY GO AHEAD. after all it is MY MONEY
