Caledon Hotel Spa And Casino
No food allowed into the day visitors area!!

Decided to make a day of it with friends at Caledon Spa on Sunday 30 June 2013. Arrived after 10.30am on Sunday morning and made enquiries from the lady (whom we later learnt was the manager) on duty at the time at the Spa reception about the price for a day visitor. She was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. After purchasing our vouchers for the day, collected our goodies from our cars and then proceeded to go through and settle down. Now ready to have "breakfast" we were then politely informed by security that we are not allowed to eat anywhere inside the day visitors area. Ppl drive all the way from Cape Town to spend the day there how can you expect them not to want to eat? If that are your rules please do inform ppl about it prior to accepting payment and do have it advertised clearly at the entrance where the day visitors enter. Needless to say I will def think twice before returning. What is a picnic out with family and friends if you cannot eat. Silly rule
