OUR STAY AT TIVEKA LODGE

Day visitors appeared to have more rights and freedom to make an enormous racket till early morning hours. It was stated that it is quieter in our estate at home than in a supposed "game lodge". The manager we met -Nixon- has no control whatsoever over any guest or staff member and that he is possibly the main reason people act so disorderly. We complained, our children moved 3 times and we moved once to get away from the barbaric noise made by the uncontrolled day visitors.
We also made our concerns heard to Stella, which she attempted to solve, yet as soon as her car was out the gate Nixon locked up went to the bar area and started his own party with the staff. This party was in no way quiet, in fact music and loud voices was heard till around 01:00 in the morning. On the Sunday morning we were advised by Nixon that Aubrey cannot take us on a game drive as he called in sick with a head ache - probably a hangover from the previous night with Nixon, only to see him well and fine doing a game drive later the afternoon. One could rather call it a booze cruise as he was speeding with very loud intoxicated day visitors, we know this as they were heard from miles away!
