This is a thank you to a Good Samaritan- Klaries Boshoff of Caledon Hotel.

The Scenario:

My wife and I were travelling from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town, (Simonstown). We decided to take a rest stop at Caledon Casino. On completion (Three hours later) my wife started the car for the last leg home, pulling out of the gazebo parking bay, the car gave a shudder and refused to move further. We managed to push car under the gazebo parking bay. What now?

The Help:

My wife and I went to the hotel section of the casino to try and get some kind of assistance for our dilemma. At the reception desk we approached the first person we saw, explained our problem, and asked how they could help, drawing on their local knowledge. The lady who helped us, Klaries Boshoff, after listening to our problems, made a few phone calls. We could not stay at the casino hotel as it was fully booked. Klaries then arranged accommodation at a local B&B and dropped us there when her shift ended, promising further help the next morning.

The Big Picture:
